While Oktoberfest NW is an event for all ages up until 7 p.m., children are encouraged to not play Hammerschlagen for obvious reasons. We do have plenty of other game choices for all ages includng Holey Boards and Corn Hole Toss!

If you're feeling competitive and want your framed picture on the Hammerschlagen Wall of Champions then make sure to enter the Hammerschlagen Tournament of Champions. Qualifying rounds are held both Friday and Saturday nights, and finals at 8pm on Saturday. For the Finals, we're excited to bring back Steve Sandmeyer from KJR Sports Radio to emcee the the action! Note: Sign-ups are one hour before each qualifying round, first-come, first-serve. Times for the 2009 tournament to be announced.
In 2005
we introduced Hammerschlagen to the Pacific Northwest. It quickly proved
to be quite possibly the most addicting bar game ever, and a tradition
was born!
The game-
Hammerschlagen. The goal- to drive a nail into a cross-section
of wood faster than your opponent.
In 2008, the 3rd Annual Hammerschlagen Tournament once again challenged those who step up to the stump! LaMarcco Mitchell took this year's honors almost right out of the gate! Check out tournament brackets and rules here.
